Drums

Alex Raymond is a drum and percussion educator with an honours Bachelor of Music from Humber College and four years of private teaching experience. An active musician, he has performed at events, restaurants, and venues throughout Toronto, Hamilton, and Ottawa. Alex began his musical journey on piano and holds an RCM Level 6 Piano certificate.

Alex specializes in one-on-one drum lessons focused on technique, coordination, patience, and musical confidence. He begins by learning about each student’s experience, interests, and personal goals, then creates an individualized approach that evolves with their progress. His aim is for every student to leave each lesson feeling more knowledgeable, comfortable, and confident while having fun. Alex also brings extensive experience working with children through family and youth leadership camps, along with the energy and teamwork shaped by his lifelong involvement in sports.
