Let’s Rock is Kingsway School of Music’s contemporary, band-focused program for students who want to learn through the music they love and experience the excitement of playing with others.
The program includes options for guitar, electric bass, drums, keyboard, voice, and electric violin. Students learn how to listen and respond to other musicians, follow arrangements, rehearse effectively, and contribute their own sound to a band.
Our combined Private + Band package gives students the benefit of personalized instruction alongside a collaborative band experience.
During private lessons, students work on the technique, repertoire, and individual parts needed to contribute confidently to their band. Band rehearsals then bring those skills to life as students learn to perform together as an ensemble.
Lessons may incorporate the Rockschool (RSL) curriculum, offering a structured pathway through contemporary music. Students who are interested may also prepare for internationally recognized RSL examinations.
Performance is an important part of the Let’s Rock experience. As students develop, bands may have opportunities to perform at KSM concerts, community events, and local venues.
Whether a student dreams of joining a band, performing on stage, or simply playing their favourite songs, Let’s Rock provides a supportive and exciting place to grow.
Students can begin with a trial lesson or band assessment. If it feels like the right fit, they can continue with private lessons, band rehearsals, or our combined Private + Band package.
