Iva Valent

Iva Valent is a pianist, accompanist, and educator with more than 25 years of teaching experience. A graduate of Humber College’s Music program, Iva holds RCM Level 10 Piano as well as advanced studies in harmony and music history.

 

She is also an experienced arranger who creates customized music, practice tracks, and video tutorials to support each student’s learning.

Iva combines traditional teaching materials with students’ individual interests, helping them develop technique, creativity, discipline, and confidence while keeping lessons enjoyable. She believes music can be both a fulfilling lifelong hobby and a meaningful form of personal expression and community. Outside the studio, Iva enjoys cooking, drawing, creating videos, and playing video games—interests that often inspire fresh and relatable ways to connect with students.
