Voice
Danielle MacMillan is an accomplished vocalist and educator with more than 20 years of performing experience and over 12 years of teaching. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University and completed advanced studies at The Glenn Gould School. With a background in classical and operatic singing, Danielle teaches children and adults across a variety of genres, including classical, pop, crossover, and rock. She also specializes in diction coaching for repertoire in Italian, French, German, Spanish, Latin, and English.
Danielle combines healthy vocal development and strong technical foundations with musical expression, confidence, and authentic communication. She adapts each lesson to the student’s goals and learning style, supporting areas such as repertoire, audition preparation, pronunciation, and performance skills. Her warm and encouraging approach helps students feel safe exploring
their voices, proud of their progress, and inspired to grow.
Danielle’s performance accomplishments include appearing in a Dora Award-winning production with Against the Grain Theatre, receiving recognition at the Metropolitan Opera Regional Council Auditions, and winning the Rumbold Vocal Prize. She also recorded a classical album with the Scarborough Philharmonic Orchestra under Universal Records and regularly performs at weddings, Masses, and other community occasions.
