French-Canadian lyric soprano Mélissa Danis is a vocalist and educator known for her musical sensitivity, expressive stage presence, and vibrant sound. She holds an honours Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from The Royal Conservatory of Music’s Glenn Gould School and a Master of Music from the University of Toronto’s Opera School. She later continued at the
Glenn Gould School as a Vocal Scholar under celebrated soprano Adrienne Pieczonka.
Mélissa’s operatic experience includes roles in works by Handel, Bizet, Dove, Mozart, Puccini, and Ana Sokolović. She has performed across Canada and internationally, including appearances in southern France, at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, and at the Vatican in Rome. Drawing on her extensive classical training and performance experience, Mélissa helps students develop
healthy vocal technique, musical sensitivity, confidence, and the ability to communicate through song.
