Melissa Moore is a multi-instrumentalist and music educator with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from Humber College and more than 24 years of teaching experience. She teaches saxophone, flute, piano, and early childhood music, combining ear training, music literacy, harmony, melody, and creativity to build well-rounded musicians. Her early childhood training at The Royal Conservatory of Music and her interest in Dalcroze and Kodály approaches further enrich her work with young learners.

Melissa takes time to understand each student as both a person and a musician, adapting lessons to support individual goals, interests, and stages of development. An experienced performer, composer, and arranger, she has co-led a saxophone quartet and received a FACTOR grant to arrange and record music. She often creates custom arrangements for her students, helping them connect with repertoire while developing confidence, musicianship, and self-expression.
