Tatyana Gilson

Violin

Tatyana Gilson is a violinist and educator pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance at The Royal Conservatory of Music’s Glenn Gould School. She earned First Class Honours with Distinction in RCM Level 10 Violin, Piano, and Theory and has competed successfully at local, provincial, and national levels. Her experience includes the Canadian Music Competition, Canada West Performing Arts Festival, and National Youth Orchestra of Canada, along with numerous scholarships and awards.


Tatyana believes that music study supports confidence, creativity, discipline, and personal growth. She adapts lessons to each student’s goals, needs, and learning style, helping learners build solid technique and effective practice habits while finding joy in music-making. In addition to classical music, Tatyana has experience with fiddle, pop, and musical theatre. Outside the
studio, she enjoys baking, reading, and crocheting.
